Celtic midfielder Scott Brown has told talkSPORT that Kieran Tierney will be a success at Arsenal.
Tierney joined Premier League club Arsenal from Scottish Premiership outfit Celtic in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by talkSPORT to be worth £25 million.
The Scotland international left-back has had injury problems following his move to the Emirates Stadium and has not had the impact that he would have wanted to make.
The youngster has played well in the matches that he has turned out, and Celtic midfielder Brown believes that Arsenal fans will see his best soon.
Brown told talkSPORT about Tierney: “He’s a fantastic full-back, he’s got everything you could ask for. He’s got pace, he’s got strength, he’s got that drive inside him that wants to win.
“He had that at Celtic, he showed his qualities and that’s why Arsenal wanted him. I was sad to see him go because he’s a great player and a great friend as well, but it was the right time. He will kick on and show everyone what a quality player he is.”
Good signing for Arsenal
Tierney is one of the best young left-backs in Europe, and he progressed steadily over the years during his time at Celtic.
Given that the Scotland international is 22 years of age, he can and will improve in the coming years, and Arsenal fans will see the best of the youngster at the Emirates Stadium in North London.
