Arsenal will be expecting to continue their excellent start to the season on Wednesday night against PFC Ludogorets Razgrad in the Champions League.

The Gunners are on a run of six straight victories after Saturday’s 3-2 win over Swansea City and are comfortable favourites with the bookies to dispatch the Bulgarian champions.

Theo Walcott has been in hot form so far this season, with a brace against the Swans making it seven goals in 10 appearances for the England international.

Interestingly, the flying winger also scored twice in Arsenal’s last fixture in this competition, a comfortable 2-0 home win against FC Basel, and will fancy his chances of adding to that tally here.

Ludogorets suffered a home defeat to French titans Paris Saint-Germain last time out, but the home side should be wary of complacency against a team that won their domestic title by an impressive 14 points last season.

Arsenal will be without long-term absentees Per Mertesacker and Danny Welbeck, while the game comes just too soon for Aaron Ramsey (hamstring) and Olivier Giroud (foot).

Granit Xhaka will also be free to play as his red card at the weekend is applicable to domestic matches only.

In goal, David Ospina is expected to come in for Petr Cech as Arsene Wenger rotates his squad to cope with the number of games the Gunners have coming up. This could also lead to the French manager potentially resting other key players.

The visitors come to London with no fresh injury problems and will be hoping to pull off a huge upset by claiming a famous first victory on English soil.

Arsenal Predicted Line-Up: (4-2-3-1) Ospina; Bellerin, Koscielny, Holding, Monreal; Elneny, Xhaka; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Walcott; Perez

Ludogorets Predicted Line-Up: (4-2-3-1) Stoyanov; Minev, Moti, Palamino, Natanael; Dyakov, Abel; Wanderson, Marcelinho, Misidjan; Cafu
