Arsenal have delivered an injury update on their official website on several first-team players before they head to Stamford Bridge for their Premier League match against Chelsea on Tuesday night.
The Gunners have confirmed that both Sead Kolasinac and Reiss Nelson will not be available for their crucial clash against Frank Lampard’s side.
Both Arsenal players did not feature in their last Premier League outing against Sheffield United, and now will again be missing as they head to West London.
It is understood that the pair won’t be available for their upcoming clash against Burnley too as Kolasinac is still battling from the left thigh strain while Nelson is suffering from a hamstring problem.
Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang is suspended and as such will not feature.
Meanwhile, Sokratis’ inclusion in the Arsenal squad is also doubtful as the club confirmed that the Greek international will be assessed after he missed the Saturday encounter due to illness.
Kieran Tierney is still on the treatment table and as such Bukayo Saka is likely to be handed the left-back position against the Blues.
The young Arsenal defender seemed to make quite an impression on the Gunners boss Mikel Arteta after his performance against Sheffield United.
” I think he could (have a future at left-back) because he’s willing to learn, he is applying himself big time he is someone that’s has never played (that position) before but he’s really trying to do it as well as possible,” Arteta told the media.
