Arsenal are to continue their chase for Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri despite the arrival of Unai Emery, according to Sky Sports.
The media outlet claim that the Ivory Coast international remains an option for the Gunners, with the new manager having shown a previous interest in him.
Emery tried to sign the midfielder when he was in charge of Paris Saint-Germain in January, however, there were concerns over Financial Fair Play Rules which led the club to look at other transfers.
It is believed should Arsenal look to make an offer for Seri, a bid of £35million or more could help to bring him to the Emirates Stadium, as he has an agreement with Nice.
The Ivorian has been a man in-demand the past couple of years, with Barcelona and Chelsea also being credited with interest in the past.
Emery could be looking at adding to his midfield ranks this summer as he looks to rebuild the squad following his arrival earlier in the week.
The Spaniard has been named as the successor to Arsene Wenger following his 22-year reign at the Emirates Stadium outfit and will know he will have a task on his hands to try and get them back into the Champions League.
The Gunners have seen Santi Cazorla depart after a couple of seasons that had been marred by a serious muscle problem with his Achilles.
Jack Wilshere is another central midfield man that could depart north London this summer, as he is yet to agree to a new deal with the club and is thought to have a number of big offers from other Premier League sides.
