Manchester City are reportedly ready to take advantage of the uncertainty over Alexis Sanchez’s contract at Arsenal and want to sign the Chilean forward from their Premier League rivals this January, according to The Express.
The Etihad Stadium outfit spent over £100 million on new players over the course of the summer, adding attacking stars such as Nolito and Leroy Sane in the process.
However, if the latest report is to be believed, Pep Guardiola wants another major offensive weapon at his disposal and has an eye on the Gunners star.

Sanchez has been a revelation in the Premier League since leaving Barcelona two years ago and is adjudged as one of the most-dangerous attackers in English football.
Arsene Wenger will surely be keen to hold onto the global superstar, but Arsenal have seen players pried away by City in the past such as Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna.
Contract talks between Sanchez and the Emirates Stadium outfit are believed to be ongoing, but it appears that the South American will have no shortage of suitors, including some in the Premier League, should he opt for a new challenge.
