Arsenal are plotting to improve the contract of young attacker Alex Iwobi after his strong start to the new season, despite the fact he penned a new deal back in April, according to The Mirror.
The Nigeria international is a product of the Emirates Stadium outfit’s youth academy and has broken into the North London club’s first team this year.

Iwobi has been starring on the left flank for the Premier League title hopefuls this season, with the 20-year-old scoring and creating goals at will.
The Gunners starlet penned a new long-term deal with Arsene Wenger’s men back in April, believed to be paying £25,000 per week – but the latest report suggests he will be rewarded with improved terms.
Arsenal are believed to be in the process of trying to convince a host of their key players to commit to new deals, with the likes of Hector Bellerin, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez in negotiations with the club.
It will be interesting to see what role Iwobi plays when everyone is fully fit for Arsenal, with his left-wing berth usually occupied by Sanchez.
