Arsenal could still wrap up a deal for out-of-favour Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge, according to The Mirror.
The Gunners have just completed the signature of Spanish forward Lucas Perez, who has joined the North London club from Deportivo La Coruna.
However, the latest report suggests that Arsene Wenger could be tempted back into the transfer market for a snatch-and-grab attempt to land Sturridge.

The England international is not guaranteed a regular first-team place in Jurgen Klopp’s side, with the former Chelsea star speaking out about his lack of excitement at being played in a wide position recently.
Arsenal have been linked with Sturridge in the past, while the Emirates Stadium also failed with an audacious £40 million offer to land Luis Suarez back in his Liverpool days.
With Divock Origi and Roberto Firmino seemingly ahead of the Englishman in Klopp’s preferences, the report suggests that there could still be scope for the Gunners to sign Sturridge before the transfer window closes late on Wednesday.
