Arsenal are ready to listen to offers for key playmaker Mesut Ozil next summer if the German playmaker has not lowered his wage demands by then, according to The Telegraph.
The former Real Madrid midfielder has 18 months remaining on his current contract at the Premier League club, with the Gunners desperate to tie the World Cup winner down to a new deal.

The report suggests that Ozil is asking for a salary package beyond what Arsene Wenger’s men can pay.
With Alexis Sanchez’s deal with the Gunners also running down, the story stipulates that Arsenal have prioritised keeping the Chilean rather than his attacking team-mate.
Ozil would not be short of suitors if he did become available, with the report suggesting that Chelsea are currently waiting in the wings and could make a move for the creative star if he cannot agree new terms with their Premier League rivals.
Arsenal boss Wenger has stated recently that the star duo may have to lower their wage demands if agreements are to be met.
