London rivals Chelsea are also rumoured to be interested in snapping up the highly rated Frenchman.
The two Premier League sides are likely to face stiff competition from a number of other major European clubs, with Borussia Dortmund and French champions Paris Saint-Germain thought to be keeping a close eye on the centre-back’s development.
Marseille are desperate to keep hold of Kamara, who has yet to sign a professional deal with the club and have offered the youngster a three-year deal in an attempt to ward off potential suitors.
It is believed that the France Under-18 international would be more open to a move to a Premier League club, putting Arsene Wenger’s and Antonio Conte’s men in pole position for his signature.
Should he opt for a move to the Emirates Stadium, Kamara would be following in the footsteps of former Gunners Samir Nasri and Mathieu Flamini, who both swapped Marseille for North London.
The French club have made a disappointing start to their Ligue 1 campaign, sitting in 12th place and were comprehensively beaten by high-flying Monaco 4-0 in their last match.
Arsenal, meanwhile, are fourth in the league table and will be hoping to push for a title challenge, as they brace themselves for a hectic period of matches over the festive period.
