Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is a fan of Brazilian winger Lucas Moura and wants to bring the Paris Saint-Germain star to Old Trafford in the future, according to the star’s agent.

The gifted wideman was a target for the Red Devils three years ago but opted to move to the French capital instead of coming to the Premier League.

Moura has impressed in fits and starts for the French giants but has lacked consistency at times at the Parc des Princes.

Wagner Ribeiro has stated that Mourinho has been in contact with the player to express his desire to sign him for United.

The representative suggests that Moura could well be a target for the Premier League side in the near future as a result.

“Who called Lucas Moura there, who wanted Lucas Moura wasn’t Florentino [Perez, Madrid’s president]. It was Mourinho,” he told ESPN Brazil, translated by Goal.

“Mourinho was and is passionate about Lucas Moura. So much so that now at Manchester he wants Lucas as well.”

Moura’s potential arrival would surely mark the end of Juan Mata’s time at the Premier League club, with Mourinho selling the Spaniard once before in his days at Chelsea.

Anthony Martial is United’s only wideman possessing real pace and the French attacker would prefer to play centrally. As such Moura could well offer the Red Devils something different in the final third.
