Everton kept their brilliant home form going with an emphatic 4-0 win against Manchester United on Easter Sunday.

Marco Silva’s side have enjoyed themselves at Goodison Park recently, as the Toffees have managed to record victories over both Chelsea and Arsenal prior to this weekend’s meeting.

Richarlison got things going for Everton in the first half with a fine close-range finish before Gylfi Sigurdsson managed to beat David De Gea from distance.

Lucas Digne added a third ten minutes after the restart with a fine effort before Theo Walcott finished Manchester United off with a clinical finish in front of the Glawdys Street end.

The result lifted the Toffees into seventh place in the Premier League table with just three games of the campaign left to play.

Fans were ecstatic with the result and performance they saw from their players at Goodison Park, making Easter Sunday all the more sweeter.

Supporters took to Twitter to share their reactions to what they saw and one man appeared to get plenty of positive responses to his display.

Sigurdsson, who is valued at £27million by Transfermarkt, earned a number of plaudits for what he managed to achieve on the Goodison Park turf on Sunday, whilst he was also named man of the match for his contribution.

Fans commented that they had felt the Icelandic ace was ‘world-class’ and had been ‘sensational’ throughout the game.
