Chelsea have confirmed on their official website that young midfielder Mario Pasalic will spend the 2016-17 season on loan at AC Milan.
The German-born playmaker joined the Blues from Hadjuk Split in 2014 but has not been given a chance to play in the Premier League as yet by the West London side.
With plenty of options for Antonio Conte in the heart of Chelsea’s midfield, Pasalic was always likely to be farmed out for this season and it has been confirmed that he will join Milan.

The 21-year-old Croatia international has spent similar stints elsewhere on a temporary basis since being signed by Chelsea, with Pasalic also getting the chance to play at Elche and Monaco over the last two seasons.
Conte will hope that the midfielder is given a chance to feature for the Serie A side and returns a more experienced and rounded player.
However, Chelsea have had a failed similar agreement with the Rossoneri in the past, when Marco van Ginkel was sent to the San Siro on loan but was not given a chance to feature in Italy.
