According to The Mirror, Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale does not want to return to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane reportedly wants Bale to leave this summer, but the 29-year-old is in no hurry to quit.

The Wales international will only leave Los Blancos for another very top club and does not fancy a move back to Spurs, according to the report.

The Sun has reported that Tottenham’s transfer committee are discussing a loan move for Bale, but they do not want a permanent transfer.

The 29-year-old was on the books of Spurs from 2007 until 2013, and it was at White Hart Lane that he become a superstar and is still very popular among the North London club’s fans.

Bale joined Madrid from Tottenham in the summer of 2013, and has won La Liga once and the Champions League four times with Los Blancos.

According to WhoScored, the winger has scored eight goals and provided three assists in 21 La Liga starts for Madrid, and scored three goals and provided two assists in seven Champions League appearances for the Spanish giants this season.
