I would love to see Eriksen at Liverpool and judging by what Finnbogason has offered to Heerenveen, he wouldn't be too bad either.
But you are forgetting one awesome Eridivisie player and that is Viktor Fischer.

Judging from most of the southern based media, you would think Scottish football is in crisis. Yet we have enjoyed one of the best, most competitive seasons in the SPL. Not having Rangers has been a breath of fresh air, and has opened up competition. Combine that with the rise of the Highland clubs it has been very entertaining.

"The predictable demise"

You say predictable demise but most people were saying they were certs for third and had a good chance of finishing second a couple of months ago.

Even the usually pessimistic Spurs fans were feeling confident. After they beat Arsenal, I heard a podcast that featured a Spurs fan who went through their remaining fixtures and he predicted they would finish with 74 points.

I don't think Spurs will be out of the race for fourth if they lose on Sunday but I think they would have to win all their remaining games to finish above Chelsea or Arsenal and given that they've got to go to The Bridge(they haven't won in their last 27 games there!) and the potentially tricky Wigan and Stoke, I just can't see that happening.

I've been saying all season that Spurs will finish fifth and sadly(I don't like Chelsea and I hate Arsenal), it looks as though I'm going to be right.

I like Hodgson, and I think he was definitely a better fit for England than Redknapp (quite possibly a better manager overall), but I'd agree with you on his comments, and his ambition, to an extent.

I was alarmed when I saw the team - we should have had more creativity than Welbeck and Milner on the wings!

It's examples like Moyes who make it so frustrating that few British managers are willing to look at jobs outside our shores.
Imagine how much he could develop as a manager and grow his reputation if he was willing to manage at a team capable of winning the title in Portugal, Germany or Holland.
